We have a had a busy and very fast summer!! My last post was about the end of school and here we are about to begin the new school year in a few days! The summer has gone by in a blur!! But basically, the pictures below are what it has looked like! Lots of time in swimsuits and in the water--either at the lake, river, or in the pool!!
On the way to the lake one day--she didn't want anything on over her swimsuit!

Elissa loves the water!

That's Brannon relaxing on the float!

Brannon playing at the river:

Blake learned to knee board this summer!!! He did awesome!!!

She was posing for a picture!

I think they were working on the buoy for the boat at the river and this is Blake "helping" ;-).

4th of July

Elissa absolutely loved the fireworks! She danced and cheered every time they went off! It was so adorable!!

"Helping" Nana get her new classroom set up!

Laying out at the pool!

It's hard to see but that's Matt with Brannon and Elissa in the tube. Some great friends invited us out to the lake with them.

That's the boys with their friend in the tube!

As quick as that is, that pretty much sums up our summer. It's been great to see how far the kids have come in the water--especially Brannon. He started the summer scared to death of the water--he screamed at swimming lessons (I'm so embarrassed to admit that!) but now he swims like a little fish and loves every second of it!! He runs and jumps in and bobs right up! It's amazing what a couple of months will do!! Elissa loves the water! We'll put a life jacket on her and she'll swim all over. She looks like she's running in the water--it's hilarious! Blake of course loves swimming too--he loves to make the biggest splashes possible. And of course he has enjoyed learning how to knee board...next year he'll probably be wake boarding! He's growing up so fast!!
We've had fun but I think we're all ready to get back into a routine! No more lazy mornings anymore! Of course we're going to be able to use the pool a while longer!! So I guess we're not completely done with the water fun!
Hope everyone else has had a great summer!
