It is so hard to believe but our baby boy has been here for half a year already!! He's growing so fast!! He is such a sweet and happy baby. When he smiles, he smiles with his whole body! He makes us laugh everyday!
We went for his 6 month check up and he weighs a whopping 21 lbs 8.9oz!!! Crazy to think that he weighs more now than Elissa did at a year old. The nurse and doctor couldn't get over how happy he was and how he was smiling at everyone! Especially when the doctor looked in his ears and saw that poor guy had an ear infection! She looked at his smiling face, looked at me, looked in his ear again and said, "You're not going to believe this....but he has an ear infection!" This did get him out of his shots though...at least for 2 weeks when (hopefully!!) his ears will be cleared up.
A friend of mine made this jon-jon for him! I've kind of had a hard time with clothes for this little chunkster of mine and I gave her his measurements and now he has this adorable, comfortable jon-jon to wear!! And the best part....
.......it's reversible!!! Two outfits in one! Of course we had to have monkeys on one side for our chunky monkey!! Look for Emma Kate's Closet on Facebook and Etsy!
And now that I've been on the verge of crying all week at the thought of my baby turning 6 months old....Saturday is sure to bring on the water works. Blake will be....nevermind....we'll talk about that later...
