Elissa's party and update

Well, first I'd like to say that I talked to the doctor and Elissa is fine! Her hemoglobin is on the low side but still within range. Her x-ray showed that the cyst is not too deep. It is something we're going to have to watch though. We're going to reevaluate in 6 months. If it is still there or is getting bigger we may do a CAT scan. So, I'm praying that it goes away and we don't have to put her through that!!! Okay, so on to some more fun things! We had a party for Elissa this weekend with all our family. We had a lot of fun and loved seeing everyone!

I made this (much too large) whimsical cake for her. Jenn came over and helped put some finishing touches on it! I tried a new fondant recipe and, while it tasted great, it was a pain to work with!!

After blowing out the candles....she's got the hang of that now!!

Funky Monkey cake--banana cake with peanut butter and banana cheesecake fillings--and a little chocolate!

She opened all sorts of fun, girly gifts! Along with the bike pictured below she now has a trunk of dress up clothes, a tutu, some new clothes (she had to put some of them on right away--see the pants on under her dress) and PJs, and a fun new bath toy (I couldn't get her out of the bath she was enjoying it so much!).
