We've had a very busy Christmas this year--even though we tried to keep it simple! Last weekend Matt's parents came and we all had a lot of fun. The boys made gingerbread houses with Nana. They had fun and we enjoyed watching the different ways the boys worked. Brannon was very meticulous and much neater than I thought a 4 year old could be! Not that it surprises me with him--he's like this with a lot of things! Blake, of course, was very fast but very creative!

This is Blake's--but he wasn't done yet--after watching Brannon some he decided to add more candy.

This is Blake's finished:

This is Brannon's--I love how he did the gummy bears on the roof:

After going out to dinner and seeing some Christmas lights, the kids opened presents from Nana and Papa C.

The boys got these speed stack cups. They use these at their Nana's school. The sets came with instructional DVDs. It's amazing to watch how fast some people can stack these cups! If you haven't heard of this type in "speed stacking" on YouTube--it's crazy! They really help with hand-eye coordination and ambidexterity.

Nana and Papa C. also got the kids sleeping bags so we can take them camping! The boys slept in theirs for the next few nights.

Okay, well this is just a random picture of Elissa playing outside during this weekend. Nana and I tried to take them outside to run off some energy but it was
soooo cold!!!

Blake racing Nana!

We had a wonderful weekend and it was just a start to our Christmas fun!
